Tru-Tech Tool & Machine Corp was founded by Wally Tiefenthal and Mark Douglas in 1980. Currently, Wally is retired and the current ownership is held by Mark Douglas, Paul Tiefenthal, Max Baauw and Mark Douglas Jr. Mark Douglas is a journeyman tool and die maker by trade. He is our senior owner and has been in his trade for approximately 30 years. Paul Tiefenthal heads up our engineering department. He has been in engineering for approximately 21 years. Max Baauw has been in the roll forming industry for over 35 years. He quickly worked his way up to foreman, then general manager of a local roll form company before starting and becoming part owner of Contour Roll Company. He then served as a consultant in the roll forming industry before coming to Tru-Tech. Mark Douglas Jr. is also a journeyman tool and die maker. He has been with Tru-Tech for 19 years. All four of our owners provide our customers as well as our employees with years of experience and volumes of knowledge in each of the three vital parts of our industry resulting in high quality finished products whether they be equipment, tooling, dies, presses, turn key lines or production parts.

Wally and Mark started Tru-Tech as a tool and die shop. Tru-Tech progressed to roll form machines and tooling for heavy products such as C and Z perlins. Throughout the years of growth, Tru-Tech has evolved into a leading manufacturer of roll form equipment, tooling and turn key systems for the automotive, office furniture, building trades, hvac, consumer products and appliance industries.

In 1998 we opened a new production roll forming facility with one roll form line in operation. Currently, we have ten roll form lines in operation and room to grow. We are serving the same industries in production roll forming as we serve with roll form equipment and tooling.
